Community Outreach
Dorm Mums
Dorm Mums is a group of diverse women, bonded singularly by their compassion for the less-privileged sections of our community and a dedication to improving lives. Dorm Mums founder, Priya, along with core team members, volunteer with their organisation partners to reach out to the Guest Brothers in Singapore and support initiated programs.
The Dorm Mums function as an extended arm of Alliance of Guest Workers Outreach (AGWO). The partnership goals are to integrate Guest Brothers into the community, ensure their wellbeing and give them an opportunity to develop and upgrade their skills. Dorm Mums support AGWO with events & festive celebrations, coordination of caterers & meals distribution, creating awareness of activities, organizing charity drives for new & pre-loved items, sourcing of festive gifts & dry rations, well-being checks on Guest Brothers, managing skill upgrade programs, mental health & buddy programs, and more.
